Cookie Review

Date March 2, 2013

I realized the other day that my cookie flavors took me off the rails from sharing photos of cookies I’ve made over the last couple months and since this is a cookie blog, here are some semi-recent cookie photos. If any of these look familiar it’s probably because you saw them over on Facebook.

A thank you order for a plastic surgeon. Minus not plus. That’s all I’m saying.

Cookies to celebrate the life of a dad and grandpa who loved both crabbing and Christmas trees
and whose family continues to love and remember him whenever they gather.

I only made a few Christmas cookies this year but enjoyed this small set of minis for Hanukkah Chanukah.

Thank you cookies for a friend who took us out for an amazing dinner when we were in Italy last fall and followed up by sending me this wonderful Italy cutter.

I love any chance to make Hello Kitty cookies and these for a little girl named Harper were especially fun.

I made these Mickey cookies just for fun and sent them off to my Mickey apprecianado great niece Rosie.  The Mickey shorts were hand cut but the rest were cookie cutter shapes.

My third order of Harley Davidson cookies, these for my sweet nephew Cary.

And then there were birthday cookies for my great niece Reegan . . .

A few Superbowl cookies for an after church luncheon my spouse and I hosted in our home. I had so much fun making them which is semi-ironic since I couldn’t hate football more than I do.

Mario, Luigi and a few of the gang. I keep waiting for a nice simple Pac-Man cookie order but oh no, it’s Mario Mario Mario Angry Birds Angry Birds Angry Birds.

One of my most recent sets for a gender reveal party for one of my spouse’s co-workers.
The display cookies were simple mini chocolate chip cookies.

The gender reveal cookies were simple rounds and I used a tutorial by Montreal Confections.

I also made her a set of gender reveal diaper cookies for her co-workers as a little baby gift.

And finally, I just finished up this set of Harley-Davidson cookies. Enough practice and maybe one day I’ll make a motorcycle cookie that I really like.

I just love cookie sets. They are becoming my favorite thing to make. It's fun to tie in a theme with someone's personality. I definitely saw that I scrolled through your latest sets! They are so fun. Happy Monday.

You certainly were busy baking cookies along with everything else you do! I love all that you have shown us here (the little Randy and the "R" cookies in your niece's & nephew's sets :) ) and I think that your motorcycle cookies are just wonderful.
