Valentine’s Day Warm Up
January 17, 2012
With Valentine’s Day sandwiched tight between a number of jumbo orders, I’m going to have to keep my Valentine cookies super simple which means a whole lot of Sweetie Bite hearts and squares and only LOCAL orders. That means if you live outside the Bay Area and you want Sweet Hope cookies for Valentine’s Day there’s only one thing you can do and do quickly….mooooooooove.
And here we go….
Love Squares.
Love Notes.
Love Cards.
Love Cans.
Love Knots.
And what Valentine’s Day would be complete without Cookie Conversation Hearts?
And Cookie Conversation Hearts in a hard clear plastic container, all the better!

OMG! I have one million questions (well not a million but a few), but first… I LOVE all of them….I love simple…I am all about simple!
Where did you get that pretzel cutter….I MUST have one…NOW…before Valentines day…so you have two options..tell me where to get one…or send me yours!
Did you “stamp” the conversation heart? I love those…where did you get the stamp…NOW!
How do you get all your cookies soo perfect? How did you make that yummy looking orange color? What is your middle name? Do you know how to bring world peace?
Will you be my neighbor?
Ok…I am NOT a freak…I just think you are great!

Kim, you are both funny and yet troubling at the same time. Yet another thing I love about you! The pretzel cutter is a linzer cutter, one of those great ones that has the spring press in it and oh yippee, it’s a deep enough press that I can do my cookies their usually thickness. I think I bought mine in a tin at Sur La Table with an assortment of cutters however you can buy just the pretzel cutter online at Amazon. Next question. Yes, I stamped the conversation hearts using a German alphabet cookie stamp set that you can purchase from here. I just slid the letters into the slot, brushed the stamps with an edible marker and there you go. Next question. Perfect cookies? I think not. The orange color was just a drop or two of Americolor orange into a handful of white Chocopan (GlobalSugarArt).

Share your toys with others.
Only if you move into the condo next door. It’s occupied so give up the dream.
Yes, you are a freak but if you think I’m great, then freak away!
